The post you’ve been searching for – a round up of the best crochet baby bootie patterns for newborns, babies, toddlers and children. Baby booties are a classic must-have item for the little ones in your life. They make the perfect baby shower gift or to give as a present when the baby arrives. They continue to be a wonderful accessory as they grow into toddlers and children. I have searched high and low for the best crochet baby bootie patterns and am happy to round them up for you here. Although my chunky hats have always been a best seller in my shop, the baby booties I offer are a close second! I added them to my handmade Etsy shop two years ago and I have sold hundreds of pairs. If you’re looking for ideas to make money crocheting, I highly recommend trying one of these patterns below. They pair well with any of our hat patterns. Most of the patterns highlighted below can be made with the popular Lion Brand Wool Ease Thick & Quick yarn, which is what I use in all of my chunky hat patterns.Â

The Pattern is Pink Bootie Pattern
I had to put this pattern at the top of my list because it is the one I use for the booties in my shop. Rose from The Pattern Is Pink has created bootie patterns in sizes infant, child, youth and women. All of the feedback I’ve received from the booties I sell has been excellent in regards to the sizing and fit. I love the look of the leather soles and that was a must-have when I was searching for the perfect bootie pattern. She also offers the leather soles in her shop if you want to make a pair but don’t have any leather. I highly recommend this pattern and all 4 sizes are available here.
Josiah and Co. Bootie Patterns
I have been following Melissa from Josiah and Co on Instagram for many years. She makes beautiful booties and recently published her patterns. They come in sizes Infant, Toddler and Child with leather soles, or try the newborn up to 12 month booties pattern without leather soles – all you need is yarn and ties! If you’re a knitter, be sure to check out her adorable bobble booties knitting pattern. Find all the patterns here.
Loops And Things WPG 3-in-1 Bootie Patterns
I love this pattern from Loops and Things Wpg because it comes in the classic style as well as the strap around the ankles. It includes directions to make either pair with or without the leather soles (soles also available in the shop) and has information on adding shearling insoles. Sizes newborn all the way up Women are available! Check out each set of patterns here.
Lady Jay Crochet Cabin Booties Pattern
Justyna from Lady Jay Crochet makes such gorgeous crochet and knit patterns. Her Cabin Booties pattern comes in sizes newborn up to 24 months and requires no leather soles – you can work these up with the yarn you have at home – I know I’m not the only one with a huge stash 😉 Check out the pattern here.
This sweet baby loafer pattern by Sophie & Me is perfect for those summer babies. I love the look of them and will definitely be trying out this pattern. Available in sizes 0-24 months. Even better – they come in women’s sizes too! The patterns can be found here (Baby sizes) and here (Women’s sizes)
